Fall Into Reading Challenge

Katrina at Callapidder Days is once again hosting the Fall Into Reading Challenge. this is a fun and easy way to bring down your TBR pile or to read those books you have been dying to read from the library. Just click on the underlined link above to her site for all of the wonderful instructions and to grab a button for your sidebar. Then get started making your list. I have decided to take this one step further. Since this challenge covers approximately 12 weeks I am going to ask my students to pick the number of books I should read during that time. I will take an average from the totals submitted in each class and then post that many books. I am excited. If I can get my students to help choose then I just might get them reading more as well. I will let you know when I get my list made up and post it on September 22nd.

  2. I hope so. I have invited the teachers at school to join me in this challenge and several have answered that call. My students have spoken and I have a goal of 85 books for this challenge. Wish me luck.

  3. I love the fact that you're involving your students in your selections. It seems like turnabout and fair play for them to tell a teacher what they think she should read. :-) I can't wait to hear what they recommend.
