Marcia Hill has written a compelling story about her life with an extremely abusive man. Having never been in her situation I sat back and read the book and wondered why she had not taken her kids and left her abuser. I realized as I continued to read that her choices were taken away from her. I felt terrible for both her and her children to have lived such a terrifying lifestyle. The book was so interesting I put it away in just a couple of hours. It is one I will definitely recommend to my friends.
Even tho it's `Hazardous to my health` the cover looks relaxing. I would love to be there.
ReplyDeleteI agree. But it is very fitting. The islands of Hawaii are very serene looking yet it took a violent action to build them. The same goes for this book.
