Today I put my blog site on the board along with my reading goals. When the students saw I had as my goal to read 60+ books between June 5th and August 17th the reactions were mixed. Some students have seen me put away 2 books on our reading day and believe I can do it. I have other students that think that this will be an impossible task. I told them that my goal is to have them read my blog and maybe start a list of books they want to read. I have challenged them to see how many books they can read this summer. I hope some of them join in. I have just received two books from The Picnic Basket by Julie Sykes. They are part of the Pet Sitter series. I will begin them in a few minutes so I can get my review in tonight.
