Potty training is never easy. This would be a great book to start reading to your little one before you start potty training. This book would get them excited about growing up and going potty and getting rid of their diapers.

Mom shares with her daughter Maddie how much she loves her. Then she starts telling her all the wonderful things she can grow up to do. Most importantly mom wants her to know she wants her to grow up to be kind, healthy and a wonderful person.

Monsters Can’t Sleep

Josh hears strange noises as he is trying to sleep. He remembers how brave his mom thinks he is. He gets up to investigate and learns a monster is under his bed. He tells Josh he is there to protect him while he sleeps. Josh is happy to have a monster under his bed.

 

Picky Eater

Franklin was a picky eater. He wouldn’t even try vegetables or fruits. He decided he hated them without even trying them. Mom finds a way to get Franklin to try the vegetables without knowing he did. Franklin discovered he like them.

Why Bully Me

Monkey makes fun of elephant and giraffe making them feel sad. Elephant and monkey become friends. Elephant stands up for his friend and monkey leaves them alone. He tells monkey they should celebrate their differences.

 

I Love My Grandma

Adam and Alice visit their grandma separately. She tailors her play activities to what she knows each grandchild would like. This brought back fond memories of spending the night with my own grandma and made me think about how I play with my own grandchildren.

 

The Choices I Make

Josh gets angry with his sister Emily when he comes home from school and finds her playing with his favorite toy. He gets angry and screams at her. His father explains why it is wrong and how it makes him feel. The book shows common situations that make kids angry. Then it shows the better choice to make.
